The ProNest+ automated nesting centre is dedicated to the furniture industry, in particular to manufacturers of case and upholstered furniture, but it can also be used in other industrial sectors.

This is an advanced device equipped with a board feeding and receiving system. This is an ideal solution for cutting and vertical and horizontal drilling in wood-based panels and other materials.

The perfect solution for processing furniture boards

The ProNest automated machining center is dedicated to the furniture industry producing box and upholstered furniture. This machine with a feeding and receiving system is designed for cutting and vertical drilling, e.g. wood-based panels. In the standard configuration, the center has a working area of 2100 mm by 3100 mm, which enables material processing without additional cutting.

The elements that automate the production process include: intuitive software for furniture design that allows almost immediate nesting of elements on the material, a feeding and receiving system, main spindle with a power of up to 36kW, a tool revolver magazine, and drilling heads. Thanks to this configuration, work on cutting boards is fully automated, which allows for overall efficient material processing with the use of one operator. ProNest begins its work when the full-size palette of furniture boards goes to the feeder, then the individually picked boards are transferred to the work table, where the processing takes place. After the operation is performed, the finished forms are transported to the receiving table. During this process, an automatic extraction system collects dust residues from the treatment process.

The receiving system is equipped with a material sensor that stops the conveyor belt in the right position, which allows the operator to freely remove the finished forms. The machining center at this time performs operations on the next plate.

Control

Industrial, professional CNC control integrated with the LAN network allows for active communication with key components. The EtherCat protocol used enables ultra-fast, two-way communication with a sampling time of less than 1 ms. The multi-axis real-time interpolator actively forecasts the trajectory of movements also in HPM and HSM modes minimizes lagging error resulting in dynamic, smooth and precise operation. Integrated CAD / CAM environment allowing for easy editing of designs directly on the control unit increases flexibility in operation. The structure of the G-code allows you to automate the cycles and operations performed according to individual needs.
