Drema for Children - become a technology partner

For the 18th time, the DREMA 2025 International Trade Fair of Machines, Tools and Components for the Wood and Furniture Industries will feature a live furniture manufacturing demonstration under the slogan DREMA FOR CHILDREN, which has become a permanent feature of the trade fair schedule.

The charity event, organized annually by the Association of Manufacturers of Woodworking Machinery, Devices and Tools DROMA, the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology of Poznań University of Life Sciences and the Grupa MTP, aims to:

• showcase the latest technologies for the furniture industry,
• present solutions for structural design and production organization and management.

The project also has a noble aspect - the produced children's furniture will go to the most needy children from orphanages in Poland.

The production plan calls for the manufacture of several sets of complete furnishings for a child's room, including a bed with mattress, a cabinet, a desk, a chest of drawers and a linen closet.

An area of about 2,000 sqm will be available at the DREMA Fair exhibition for the Drema For Children project, supported mainly by students of the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology, .

Become a partner of the DREMA for Children 

We would like to invite partners and suppliers of new construction, technological solutions and the entire management, organization and maintenance of production and logistics. With your participation, we would like to showcase state-of-the-art processes at the fair, such as:

• systems for structural design
• management and monitoring systems for production processes
• furniture board processing,
• edging of narrow surfaces,
• refinement of wooden elements,
• assembly,
• segregation of fittings,
• packaging
• and preparation for shipping, including warehouse logistics.

The Drema Dzieciom campaign is not only a promotional activity for partners, but also an arena of practical skills for students and, above all, a noble cause.

We plan to produce:

To achieve the goal, it will be necessary:

• equipment with machinery, machine tools machining centers with filtration system to organize nest production,
• tools for processing wood and furniture boards
• power tools
• complete stations for refining the surface of wooden elements,
• 50 sheets of chipboard in a decor selected by the partner as a novelty - in commercial sheets 2800x2070x18 mm
• 500 m of edging matched to the furniture board decor,
• furniture plywood in various variants and thicknesses - to be agreed with the partner,
• frames for mattresses and 90x200 mattresses,
• fittings (connectors for body elements, hinges for furniture fronts, connectors for bed elements, drawer slides),
• other components necessary for the production of furniture.
