At 10:00 exactly, the gates were opened for visitors to the DREMA 2025 Fair. The fair was officially opened by Filip Bittner, Vice President of the Grupa MTP, Jarosław Maciejewski, Deputy Governor of Wielkopolska Province, Jan Szynaka, President of the Polish Chamber of Commerce of Furniture Manufacturers, Piotr Poziomski, President of the Polish Chamber of Commerce for the Wood Industry, and Andrzej Półrolniczak, President of the Association of Manufacturers of Woodworking Machines, Equipment, and Tools (DROMA). The most important meeting of the wood and furniture industry in Central and Eastern Europe will last until Friday, September 12.

DREMA returns to Poznań on September 9–12, 2025, with new ideas, exhibitions, and program elements. This will make the event the best source of valuable knowledge about the latest technological solutions and trends for participants, as well as a strong impetus for development. What's new at DREMA 2025?

Technologists' Forum - training for production technologists

This year's DREMA, once again recommended by EUMABOIS, will be an arena for the presentation of the latest machines, raw materials, and components for the wood and furniture industry. The exhibition will be accompanied by a rich program of accompanying events. One of them will be the second edition of the Technologists Forum, which is to be a meeting place for specialists from the wood sector - scientists, technologists, manufacturers, and practitioners - to discuss current challenges, innovations, and directions for the development of the industry. The aim of the event is to build bridges between science and industry and to support the implementation of modern, sustainable technological solutions.

"Advances in production technology are becoming increasingly dynamic. Thanks to this, furniture can be produced much faster and more efficiently, and designs that were challenging until recently can now be manufactured. In order to keep pace with the competition, it is important to always be up to date with the latest solutions and market offerings. The Technologists' Forum provides an opportunity to do just that. Everyone responsible for the production process in a furniture factory should take part in it," says Andrzej Półrolniczak, director of the DREMA Fair. The Forum is not only an opportunity to gain the latest knowledge, but also to exchange experiences and establish cooperation in the field of innovation.

Three pillars: MACHINE — TOOLS — MAN

The Technologists Forum will focus on the synergy of three key modules: MACHINE — TOOLS — MAN, which together form the foundations of modern woodworking technology processes. Discussions and presentations will focus on innovations and the effective use of these elements to optimize the quality, efficiency, and sustainable development of wood production. Much attention will be devoted to, among other things, robotization, automation, and the implementation of modern technologies based on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in production.

The topics of the Technologists' Forum will be directly related to live demonstrations at the modular Live Furniture Factory, where participants will see the latest technologies for the production of furniture and wood products in action. The furniture produced here as part of the DREMA DZIECIOM (DREMA for CHILDREN) campaign will go to charity.

The latest trends in furniture

What furniture will be fashionable in the near future? Will innovative materials revolutionize furniture production? The answer to this question will be provided by the planned zone presenting trends in furniture design. Here, visitors will be able to see the most fashionable forms, textures, colors, fittings, and materials, as well as sustainable solutions for the future.

Start-up Zone – energy and inspiration

The organizers of the DREMA trade fair have also invited young, innovative companies and technological projects related to the wood and furniture industry, particularly in the areas of Industry 4.0, automation, AI, sustainable development, and materials science, to participate in the exhibition. Selected start-ups will present themselves in a special zone, and presentations of their projects will take place on stage.

Qualified personnel for the furniture industry

During the DREMA Fair, the newly established Industry Skills Center (BCU) in Reszel will promote a new formula for training personnel for the furniture industry. Institutions of this type, implementing the concept of centers of professional excellence, will be created with the support of EU funds available under the National Reconstruction Program. Ultimately, they are intended to be a panacea for the shortage of highly qualified personnel, which is increasingly felt by the furniture industry.

41st edition of the DREMA Fair

The DREMA Fair will be held in Poznań for the 41st time. It is not only an exhibition of the latest solutions in the field of automation, robotization, and digitization of processes, but also a place to exchange experiences and build business relationships. The program will include regular events such as the KOOPDREW Wood Industry Congress, the National Furniture Congress, a meeting of women involved in the furniture industry, as well as numerous thematic zones and live demonstrations. The organizers focus on practical knowledge, support for innovation, and industry integration in the face of market challenges such as rising production costs and supply chain instability. The fair will attract a wide range of professionals from Poland and abroad. Last year, visitors from 32 countries participated in the event.
